Now is the perfect time to review a current strategic plan or commit to start a strategic
planning process. Whether an organization has a formal strategic plan in place or needs to develop
one, Suddes Partners can outline a plan that is relevant in today’s economy.
Working with staff and
volunteer leaders, Suddes Partners leads an organization through a process to identify its core mission,
vision and key strategic objectives, resulting in a “roadmap” that articulates goals and defines
current and future resources necessary to achieve those objectives. Based on a clearly defined mission
and vision, the plan reflects an organization’s current strengths and opportunities, weaknesses and
barriers and three to five key organizational objectives. These objectives serve as a guide for all
future activities and are supported by individual strategic initiatives and priority actions.
The strategic
planning process includes:
- Suddes Partners’ thorough review of all current key materials and information pertaining to the organization’s
mission, vision and objectives.
- Facilitated meetings, focus groups and surveys with key stakeholders (staff, board and donors) to begin formulating
priority objectives for the organization.
- Facilitated strategy / visioning sessions with the board to formulate and adopt a strategic plan.
- Delivery of a Strategy Articulation Map – which summarizes the organization’s mission, vision,
key strategic objectives, and the priority initiatives needed to accomplish the stated objectives.
