Whether you need strategic guidance or hands-on implementation
of a development project, we can be your partner—helping to fill resource
gaps and overcome barriers. We bring a highly customized and unique approach to
the fundraising process, delivering fresh thinking and real solutions—not
a “cookie cutter” method that disregards the unique nature of your
organization.
Feasibility Assessments
We’re not big fans of traditional feasibility studies. While most
other fundraising firms mitigate their risk by looking for reasons why you can’t raise
the funds needed to accomplish your vision, we look for ways you can.
| We focus on four key areas or “Cornerstones” of
the Feasibility Assessments: |
- Organizational Readiness—Assess
the image and reputation of the organization, staff and
volunteer leadership capabilities and organizational stability.
- Project Vision—Assess overall
clarity of the organization’s vision, including “case
for support,” solid project plan and post-implementation
business plan.
- Funding Strategy—Interview top
donor prospects and strategic partners to assess the level
of willingness to financially support the vision.
- Campaign Readiness—Determine the
general timing and “climate” for when best
to move forward with a project.
|
Based on the
results of the assessment, Suddes Partners provides comprehensive
recommendations to move forward with your vision. In many
instances, you may be ready to move forward with your fundraising
plans. If however, we determine the organization is not well-positioned
for a successful initiative, we provide objective recommendations
that may need to be accomplished prior to launching a full-scale
campaign. These may include areas such as business planning,
donor cultivation, organizational development or strategy
articulation.
Capital Campaigns
We pride ourselves on conducting campaigns
to help organizations breakthrough any barriers and reach
their maximum funding potential.
| Project Planning |
| Often identified through the Feasibility
Assessment, Suddes Partners can help organizations address
obstacles that might hinder the success of a capital
campaign. We work with the organization through activities
such as business planning, proforma building and facilities
planning, to eliminate these barriers—prior to
launching a full-scale fundraising effort. |
 |
| Campaign Preparation |
| We perform the detailed
upfront planning to establish the framework for a successful
capital campaign. We develop a comprehensive funding
plan, campaign plan with timelines and checkpoints,
leadership collateral materials, as well as work with
the organization to determine the overall campaign
infrastructure. |
 |
| Major Gift Solicitation |
| The ultimate measure
of success for any campaign will be determined by the
professional, knowledgeable and effective solicitation
of leadership prospects. We have the experience and expertise to take
an active role in the solicitation process, accompanying staff and volunteers
as appropriate. |
 |
| Community Support |
| Upon completion of the
leadership solicitation phase, we partner with organizations
on the coordination and implementation of the “grassroots” campaign
to broaden the base of support for the project. We
develop timelines and action items, the necessary collateral
for reaching various segments of your donor community,
and plan for special events. |
