Campaign Feasibility Assessments

Suddes Partners’ view of the feasibility process differs from the traditional approach utilized by most fundraising firms.  Candidly, feasibility studies can be used as much for the fundraising counsel to set a safe, achievable goal than to determine true “potential”.  Our job is to determine how your vision can be achieved, not tell you all the reasons why it can not.

The completion of a Campaign Feasibility Assessment will accomplish three major priorities:

  • Create ownership and buy-in from your top donor base on the organization’s vision and funding priorities
  • Gather important feedback to develop a compelling Case for Support in order to maximize funding support during a campaign
  • Determine the feasibility of meeting your funding priorities

The Campaign Feasibility Assessment is designed to not only assess the potential opportunities to achieve the desired funding, but also to assess obstacles or areas of potential risk in moving forward with a campaign. Our Campaign Feasibility Assessments focus on four key areas:

  1. Organizational Readiness— Assess the image and reputation of the organization, staff and volunteer leadership capabilities and organizational stability.
  2. Project Vision— Assess overall clarity of the organization’s vision, including the Case for Support, solid project plan and post-implementation business plan.
  3. Funding Strategy—Interview top donor prospects and strategic partners to assess the level of willingness to financially support the vision.
  4. Campaign Readiness— Determine the general timing and “climate” for when best to move forward with a project.

After thorough analysis of data gathered through the assessment process and interviews with select leaders in your community, we utilize our extensive expertise and insights to provide the organization with a detailed report that includes key observations, conclusions and specific recommendations for moving forward with a capital campaign.
