As a 22-year veteran of fundraising, John is regarded
as an innovative leader in the development field, building a well-deserved
reputation for his fresh, creative and successful approach in assisting
non-profit organizations in reaching their maximum funding potential.
Having personally participated in over 4,000 prospect solicitations in his career, securing numerous
seven figure gifts, John is recognized as one of the nation’s leading professionals in the
area of major gift solicitation.
As a passionate advocate and thought leader for non-profits, John is a frequent speaker and writer
on such topics as organizational and strategic visioning, and major gift solicitation.
John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Miami (Ohio) University.

| Cathy Coleman |

With over 25 years experience in development and community relations, Cathy Coleman assists non-profit organizations in reaching their fundraising and cultivation goals. With expertise in relationship management, leadership gift solicitation, strategic issue development and community outreach, Cathy brings a wealth of executive-level experience and professional acumen to the firm and our clients.
Having served as Director of Development for The Westminster Schools in Atlanta, Georgia—Coleman oversaw the Annual Fund and Alumni Relations divisions within the Office for Institutional Advancement, leading the organization to an Annual campaign goal $2,625,000.
Coleman has a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics and Journalism from the University of Georgia and is an Accredited Public Relations Professional (APRP).

| Melinda Kelleher |

As a leader in the non-profit profession, Melinda
has vast experience working with non-profit
organizations, generating revenue through
special events, major gifts and corporate alliances.
She has worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies
to express their corporate citizenship through
targeted and thoughtful philanthropy.
Prior to joining Suddes Partners, Melinda served
as a Regional Field Representative at the Muscular
Dystrophy Association (MDA). During her 12-year
career at MDA, Melinda’s responsibilities
covered multiple areas of fundraising and outreach.
Kelleher earned a Bachelor of
Arts in Journalism and English from Brenau Women’s
College in Gainesville, GA.

| Laura Heinlein |
 |
Laura Heinlein provides fresh insight to the management and implementation of Suddes Partners’ client campaigns and marketing strategies. Her professional experience spans areas including membership growth, community partnership building, volunteer recruitment and management and event planning.
Prior to joining Suddes, Laura was instrumental in the growth of the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG). During her tenure at TAG, she rapidly grew membership and developed a series of education programs for technology professionals. Laura played a key role in the planning and execution of over 50 events annually and recruited, trained, and engaged over 80 volunteers.
Laura is a 2004 cum laude graduate of the Women's College at Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia having earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Arts Management, ballet concentration.

| Lynn Parsons |

With nearly eight years of strategic communications, project management and writing experience, Lynn Parsons offers sound counsel in crafting compelling case statements, telling stories that inspire action and identifying campaign key messages that resonate with donors and their philanthropic motivations.
Prior to joining Suddes Partners, Lynn was instrumental in creating development communications, proposals and support materials for a $50 million fundraising campaign at the University at Buffalo (UB). While at UB, Lynn served as a resource to colleagues, building relationships with people from all levels, interviewing topic experts, writing and editing fundraising solicitations, concept papers, letters, and reports. Additionally, Lynn has four years’ experience with Colorado’s leading pediatric hospital during a $250 million comprehensive campaign.
Lynn holds a master’s degree in Applied Communication from the University of Denver and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from New Mexico State.
