John M. Suddes founded Suddes Partners in 1988 based on a passion to aid non-profit organizations
in the achievement of their vision, through successful organizational and fundraising breakthroughs.
This passion still exists today with a relentless commitment to core values such as integrity, innovative
leadership and excellence.
Guided by two decades of result-generating experience, Suddes is regarded
as an innovative leader in the development field—building a well-deserved reputation for his fresh,
creative and successful approach in assisting non-profit organizations reach their maximum funding
potential. His
skills in major gift solicitation, organizational and strategic visioning and gaining critical results
are unparalleled within the fundraising consulting field.
As one of the nation’s leading professionals
in the area of major gift solicitation, Suddes has
personally participated in over 4,500 prospect solicitations throughout his career. He has been
instrumental in the planning and execution of successful funding initiatives that have secured “organization-changing” charitable
gifts for non-profits and the communities they serve.
Recognized by his peers as a passionate advocate
and thought leader, Suddes is frequently asked to speak and write on such topics as organizational
and strategic visioning and major gift solicitation. He has been a keynote speaker at conferences
across the country sponsored by state and national non-profit associations.
Suddes holds a Bachelor
of Science degree in Marketing from Miami University. He lives in Atlanta
with wife Jennifer and two sons Jack and Walker.
Service to the Community:
Suddes believes in actively supporting various non-profits and his Atlanta community. He has been
passionately involved in a variety of area educational, healthcare, recreational and religious organizations
as a key member of volunteer leadership teams.
Suddes recently served as Chairman of the Board of
Trustees for Saint Martin’s Episcopal School. He
was a member of the Major Gifts Committee for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s $230 million
capital campaign. Suddes is involved with both Sandy Springs Youth Sports and his church where he
has been an active coach of youth baseball and basketball. |
